State Farm… Why the issues?

A State Farm insurance adjuster was just out at a home here in south west Louisiana and the games they are playing are past ridiculous. When you can clearly see the dents, the metal roofing that was pulled loose, or even the fact it leaks inside the home.  Not to mention the fact there is two large holes, and a crushed corner of the home. Every piece along the ridge was pulled loose. Yet, the State Farm Adjuster seems to think it’s “ok” to say only 50% of the roof is damaged. The adjuster tried to say that the dents were from a hammer. Even though several had pieces of bark and even a shingle stuck in them. These guys were just grasping at straws.

I just don’t get why insurance companies can’t be fair?

Those down here in south west Louisiana deserve to be treated fairly and their property damage covered when they had insurance. Just like anyone else who insures their property.  This is not right. Companies like State Farm should be embarrassed about how they act.

Insurance here is crazy expensive. Yet from what we have seen they don’t want to cover what they are supposed to. Now we have a tarp (or what’s left of one) blowing in the breeze. And a damaged leaking roof that they (the state farm adjuster) say is only 50% damaged! Its a shame when the homeowners family and volunteers have to get involved to get the roof re-tarped to prevent more issues. From the blatant silly acts of the agents of State Farm.
What if it rains tonight? Who’s issue will be the roof leaks? Pretty sure State Farm will say it’s not theirs. Even though they are the ones that wanted the tarps removed and yet still won’t cover the full cost to repair the roof. Nothing but excuses for their crazy behavior.
